BRUCE LEE FOUNDATION 11693 San Vicente Blvd, Suite 918 Los Angeles, CA 90049 Bruce Lee Scholarship 2012 To all Applicants, The purpose of this program is to provide a financial award of $1,000.00 to one or more students who understand, appreciate and exemplify Bruce Lee’s passion for education as well as his qualities of honest expression, forward thought, self-exploration, and assertiveness. The scholarships are available to students age 16 and older who will be attending or are already attending a two-year college, four-year university, or licensed trade and vocational school in the United States. Criteria used in evaluating applicants include, but is not limited to, involvement in extra-curricular activities/community service/work experience, future potential and knowledge of Bruce Lee. The scholarship is open to high school seniors and above. All scholarships will be paid directly to the educational institution that the applicant is currently attending or will be attending. This scholarship may be used to cover the costs of tuition, books, fees, and room and board. Proof of enrollment must be provided prior to disbursement of the scholarship. The total amount awarded to each recipient will be $1,000.00. Applications can be obtained online at www.bruceleefoundation.com. All applications for the Bruce Lee Scholarship must be postmarked or received by the Bruce Lee Foundation by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012. We unfortunately cannot accept faxed or incomplete applications. Applicants reaching the final stages of selection may be required to do an interview by phone.
